Situated at 800 km north of the Arctic Circle in Cunningham Inlet, Somerset Island, Arctic Watch opens for the ‘midnight sun’ months of July and August offering comfort and hospitality at 74° North - 16 private guest cabins each with a marine WC and basin and private showers in the main complex. - The perfect base from which to visit archaeological sites and bird rookeries, hike the Badlands and more
- Somerset Island is a world-class beluga whale nursery and observation site. Kayak with beluga whales, fish for Arctic char and explore by ATV or river raft
- Enjoy gourmet Canadian cuisine, locally sourced and organic where possible
- Relax, socialise or attend a lecture in the Great Room or delve into the extensive library and the artifacts, maps, and 42 million year-old fossils in the interpretive centre.
