Falkland Islands and South Georgia

23 Days

This unusual early season voyage embarks in Puerto Madryn before heading for the Falkland Islands. If the weather conditions are good, a landing is planned on the rarely visited Steeple Jason Island, home to the largest black-browed albatross colony in the world – a true expedition landing.

After a day in the capital, Stanley, we cross to South Georgia for an in-depth eight day expedition with two adventure options: The ‘sea explorers’ voyage will examine the coastline with zodiac excursions and hiking options. At the same time, a land expedition of ‘ski explorers’ will attempt to traverse the island on a self-supplied four day ski trek from the south coast (King Haakon Bay) to Fortuna Bay on the north coast.
