ARCTIC VOYAGES, 2010

The ideal way to see the islands of the Arctic is to join a small group on an ice-breaker or ice-strengthened expedition ship (usually carrying about 50 passengers) and go ashore in small, but very safe, boats on most days to explore and learn about the wildlife, geology and history. The shore excursions are guided by the Expedition Staff and cater for all degrees of fitness. While at sea, we can stand on the comfortable bridge, which is open to everyone at almost all times, or stand on the deck, admiring the passing scenery of glaciers and icebergs and scanning the sea for dolphins, whales and birds. There is also a comprehensive programme of lectures.

For information about the ships see About the Ships.
